I walk at least 3-4 miles a day mostly on pavement. The shoe is perfect for me. I look forward to wearing them as I know I am going to have a very comfortable walk. They look great and are very lightweight. I am getting another pair!

I use these shoes to go walking. I walk every day on gravel road so I need something that is going to last and has a great fit. These shoes do all that and more. I would definitely recommend these shoe to others in fact I already have.

Comments about Asics GEL-Trail Sensor WR:

I teach physical education and coach and am on my feet all day. I was looking for a shoe that i could wear outside, that would keep my feet dry in the grass and i could be active in with good support. This shoe more than fit the bill for me. It was very comfortable right out of the box. I am an asics fan and run in the Kayano. I haven't run any trails in these shoes, but wouldn't hesitate to do so if i had the chance. Recommended to my husband and he got a pair as well.

Comments about Asics GEL-Trail Sensor WR:

Nice comfortable shoe thanks to the gel construction with good support. It runs to the narrow side which is fine by me as I have narrow feet, but if you are toward the wider side of "b", forget this shoe, it will be too snug. Roomy toe box and yet the heel fits well. The shoe sides are just a tad higher than I am used to and just touch the bottom of my ankle bone on my right foot( has not been a problem though). I like the color, more like milk chocolate than coffee- nice neutral. The main negative is that the laces are way too short. There is no way I'd ever be able to use the 'extra' hole for a better fit/locking at the instep/topline- I plan on looking for laces that will go with the shoes on my own- as it is, I can barely tie the laces. I normally take a 9 in street shoes and 9.5 in athletic but went up an extra half-size to 10 and am glad I did(I have other Asics and noticed that they run short). The fit is perfect. I walk for fitness and don't necessarily stick to sidewalks. This is definitely one of my favorite brands of shoe.

Comments about Asics GEL-Trail Sensor WR:

I live in Colorado and run in these shoes on real trails - a mixture of smooth, rocky, gravel-strewn, hilly, off-camber - everything that makes up Colorado trails. The shoes are great. My feet are "happy" in them. They are very comfortable, have good rock protection, cushioning, traction, stability on uneven terrain, and fairly lightweight . I have worn them on smooth, groomed city trails and, although not quite as smooth as a road shoe (they are TRAIL runners), they work just great. I have run on snow pack and they have very good traction and protection from the wet. If I would mention any type of con, I would say the heel collar may be a bit tall but it really isn't much of an issue. They were comfortable new, out of the box. I have about 150 miles on them and they still look like new. Just a very good trail running shoe.

Comments about Asics GEL-Trail Sensor WR:

I live in Colorado at 7,600 feet. The weather changes constantly and rapidly. I needed a shoe that I could go from outdoors on uneven rocky roads to indoors on the treadmill during blizzards. I've been able to do that with this shoe. It gives me the stabilization, traction, and foot protection I need. I am ordering a second pair so I can trade them out daily. That way one pair is recovering while I am doing my next workout. I ordered 1/2 size up.

Comments about Asics GEL-Trail Sensor WR:

Someone wrote that this sneaker was stiff and they sure were not kidding. They are extremely stiff and uncomfortable. I really loved the colors so I ignored the reviews and spent over [$] on these. What a mistake. They are so stiff they hurt my feet so now they just look pretty in my closet. Please don't waste your money and don't let the "gel" indication fool you. There is no flexibility in these so I honestly don't think there is any "gel" in them and they will hurt your feet.
