Bought these shoes to run a couple of half marathons and the Disney full marathon this past January,amazing! They were comfortable from the first short run,all the way through the 26.2 mile run at Disney. Lightweight,breathable,narrow enough through the arch to fit snuggly without feeling tight,plenty of room in the toebox as well. The asics brand is new to my feet,happy to say many miles later I am still blister-free and enjoying the shock-absorbing pleasure. [...]

I run on average 5 times a week. I had the Asics Gel-3000 and they cleared up the shin splints and knee pain. I bought this pair because they were more fitted for running on more than a track surface. So far they are great. Knees and shins feel good and no blisters!

I only use this pair of shoes on running and walking exclusively. I usually do both around 4-5 miles daily. It is my best runnning shoes so far. It breaths efficiently, especially for someone uses their feet all the time.

This is a very comfortable shoe but if you run alot they wear out quick. If your just going to use them in the gym or casual everyday you should be fine. They are good for running and are comfortable but just wear out to quick

GEL-Stratus 2.1 are quick to break-in and a very comfotable shoe! Great for long distance training. I would not recomend for loose trail running.
I love the fit, the feel, and the lighter wieght trainer with lots of cushioning.

Have had several pairs of these and they are perfect trainers. Only negative is that the white gets really dirty running on trails (as any white shoe would!) so just wish they'd make it a different color. However, I have washed these shoes many times and they turn out great.

I am a Marathon group leader and use this shoe for shorter runs under 12 miles and on the track. Great breathability, lightweight and flexible. Fits great in the heal cup but will wear out after 200 or so miles.
