A distinctly different casual look is yours with the Alegria Paloma mary jane. The leather upper of this women's clog has stitching detail and a strap and button detail for a fun look you'll love. A roomy toe box provides ample room to move your toes. The leather-covered latex and memory foam footbed lends cushioned comfort even if you're on your feet for hours, and the anatomically correct insole is removable to accommodate custom orthotics. The Alegria Paloma women's comfort shoe has a lightweight biodegradable rocker sole with a flat heel that offers stability as it puts a spring in your step. Fit tip: Runs wide; roomy toebox fits like a C width.
I have several pair of these shoes and love them. This is my first order on this site and the Alegria Western sizing is really off. I wore these to work ( I am a nurse ) and at the end of my 8 hour shift I could barely walk. Or course when I ready the wonderful return/ exchange policy ( about wearing on carpet in house) my [$] shoes didnt apply. So with that being said the 365 day return policy isnt really that great. I will never order from this site again. I feel robbed!
I love this shoe BUT I ordered the purple metallic and the color is rubbing off. I have only worn these shoes 2 times. Do not order any of the metallic colors. Other then that I love the shoe and will be exchanging them for black patent leather. I give the shoes 5 stars but the color 1 star. I am very disappointed that I have to return these.
I work on concrete floors all day and am a mother of two. Sometimes I do not take my shoes off until it is time to get my kids ready for bed. My feet and shins do not hurt after a full day of wearing them. It feels like you are not wearing shoes at all. I normally wear a 38 and ordered a 37 in these shoes, which fit perfectly. My second pair is on order.
I was very pleased with my Alegria shoes for the first 8 months! As a Nurse, I work 12 hour shifts and am on my feet the entire shift! I was looking to replace my 6 year old Dansko shoes and was recommended the Algegria shoes by a coworker. After owning them for 8 months, I just realized that both soles have split in half, right up to the footbed! It split right on the ball of the foot where the foot naturally bends! Needless to say, I am very unhappy with this! I owned my Danskos for 6 years before mine split! I will not be buying these shoes again!!
This was my second try with Alegria and I tried a different style hoping it would work, but they felt exactly the same as the first style that I have (too late to return the first pair-from another vendor). They are overall very comfortable, and I love the funky prints for a bulky, not so stylish shoe. The cushioning and true rocker bottom are heavenly. However, I overpronate and there is not enough arch support for the inside of my feet. They are very comfortable while wearing, but if I wear them a few days in a row, my ankles get very sore. While the insoles are removable, the original insole is so thick that placing an orthotic in its place leaves too much wiggle room in the shoe. I'm able to place a tiny (not full length) orthotic on top of the existing insole, but I'm not thrilled with the way that feels. I also find myself really hanging on the the railing when going down stairs. They definitely propel you forward and feel springy which is great on level surfaces. Others have commented about their heels coming up. If you've worn clogs, then that's nothing new. My co-worker swears by these shoes and she says she seriously feels the arch support. So, if you don't overpronate like I do, these are extremely comfortable.
