Great shoes! They are wide, but that adds to the comfort. You can adjust down the width with the Velcro strap. I'm a nurse and 12 hours on my feet can be killer. This is my second pair of Alegrias and I love this style. I even wore them for a weekend getaway to Vegas. Lots of walking and they were great.

I WEAR MY ALEGRIA'S 10-12 HOURS A DAY AND CAN SAY "MY FEET NEVER HURT". THEY ARE WORTH THE MONEY AND EVEN LOOK STYLISH. LOVE THIS SHOE AND RECOMMEND TO ANYONE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU STAND FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME. OVERALL A GREAT SHOE

Strap Not Tight Enough

I love the look and feel of these shoes. I own two pairs of Alegrias and have worn my Palomas into the ground (I'm disappointed they the velcro is wearing out after only a year and holes are developing in the cloth of the heel area). I thought the Daynas would be a perfect improvement to my worn out Palomas. They were not, unfortunately. I couldn't get the strap to fasten tightly enough. My foot is an average width--not too narrow--so I didn't expect this to be a problem. So, like the Feliz's I purchased earlier and sent back because of poor fit, I will also be sending these back.

These shoes are perfect for my lifestyle . I own a boutique and am on my feet most of the day so I want something that is comfortable, yet stylish and unique.. These shoes are up the the challenge. I have the Navy Sew Hope and love that they are waterproof for dealing with the wet Northwest spring weather . Not as chunky as the Classic Alegrias and not at all orthopedic-looking....I get many compliments on them. Once a stranger stopped me in the street and asked me where I got them, They look great with cropped pants. It's like jewelry for your feet.

Brand recommended by teacher friend, but this style is not the most comfortable. Well made, very thick cushiony insole, good arch support. But pinches in just a few places, expecially with thicker socks. I will keep and wear in warmer weather.
