I like to buy shoes only once so I'd rather buy good quality. these boots are great. They were wearable right out of the box. I had tried on ankle height boots in a store and ordered these blindly and was pleasantly surprised. I wore these all over Seattle and also walked several trails on the Olympic Peninsula. These were comfortable.

Super comfy from the start. Easy to get on and off. Even pulled off the City look and wore them with a skirt. These are my travel shoes. During my first day of wearing these shoes in London, I walked a couple of miles and explored 2 museums. My socks elastic gave out so I took them off. I did get a little chafing near one big toe not wearing socks with these shoes. I'll try with no socks again but after wearing in the shoes a little more. I would also recommend treating with Scotchguard to protect from rain/snow.

I really like this shoe- it is so comfortable with great arch support, and very cute. I normally wear 8.5M but a 9 was a better fit in this shoe. I had to send it back because it is too wide for my foot, and tightening the buckle didn't help. I really wanted to keep it but exchanged it for one in my mom's size, since her foot is wider. If I can't wear it, at least I will have the joy of seeing it on her foot and knowing she's wearing a comfy cute shoe. This shoe is best for someone with wide feet- not well suited for medium or narrow feet.

I won these shoes in a hiking fundraising event and I love them (Ahnu donated them!) I received them in the blue and wore them the next day to work - a 16.5 hour day, standing about 70% of that time! They didn't require any "break in" time around the ankle as many boots do and I received many compliments. Can't wait for the rains so I can see just how waterproof they are...

Great fit for broad forefeet combined with a narrower heel. Lots of support and protection for your feet on both road and trail. Biomechanically neutral foot position is provided by a supportive arch shank through midfoot, and asymetrically placed medial and lateral stability posts, and softer EVA cushioning right under the heel. The outsole lugs provide the traction and a slight rocker up at the toe makes for a smooth easy stride. The mostly mesh upper helps to keep feet ventilated and dry. The high quality construction is evident in the finish everwhere and is both comfortable and durable for running, walking or everyday with jeans. The Windsor is a great choice to provide room at the toes and a secure fit at the heel while covering most every fast paced or daily need.
