Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I wanted a shoe with a thicker sole so I ended up returning this pair unfortunately. The rest of the shoe is very utilitarian in design, which surprised me a bit for Sketchers. Still, it looked like a solid shoe and was comfortable when I tried it on. Too bad the design wasn't what I wanted.
