As the name suggests, this is a variation on the classic Alaska FX, but with the added benefit of a steel toe and electrical hazard rating. Like its softer-toed sibling, it features a tumbled grain leather upper, nylon mesh lining, nylon mesh/removable PU sock lining, and metal D-ring and hook eyelets. Product features include: Nylon mesh/removable PU sock lining, Slip-resistant T15 rubber outsole, Goodyear welt construction.

I HAD ALREADY OWNED A PAIR OF THESE BOOTS IN THE BROWN. THYE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED SO WHILE I WAS AT IT, I BOUGHT BLACK ONES TOO! THEY FIT JUST LIKE THE OLD ONES. COMFORTABLE FROM DAY ONE. ALWAYS WEAR STEEL TOE FOR WORK, BUT THESE ARE SO COOL, I WEAR THEM A LOT ON WEEKENDS.

I BOUGHT THESE TO REPLACE A PAIR I ALREADY HAD. I ALSO BOUGHT BLACK ONES THIS ROUND.( CAN'T RESIST A SALE!). THE ONLY ISSUE I HAVE WITH THESE ARE THAT THEY SQUEEK WHEN YOU WALK. I GUESS IT IS THE LEATHER RUBBING BUT MY OLD ONES DID NOT DO THIS AND THE BLACK ONES WHICH ARE IDENTICAL DO NOT SQUEEK. NOT SURE WHAT IS UP WITH THAT. I ASSUME IT WILL STOP AS THEY WEAR. BUT I WORK IN A NOISEY FACTORY SO ITS OKAY THERE. NOT SO COOL ON WEEKENDS AT THE STORES!
