I have bought at least 6 pair of these boots starting in 1995 approx. they usually last a little over 2 years. I love them for comfort and their light weight. I wear them for work, in the field, in the snow and to church. My only complaint has been the last pair I bought. they had side zippers and a tooth broke out, but the bigger problem was the sole seperated from the toe of the boot.
As soon as my size comes in (12W) I will order another pair without the zippers.

I bought these pair especially for field work and based on reviews. I think these boots live up to its billing and reputation. I only hope that after my pair gets worn out it would still be available in my size.. I really like its comfort and style. For its price, its a bargain!

Several of our officers, including myself, use this while on patrol. There is no need to spend $100 on duty boots. These do a great job and you'll get 2 years out of them, easily. Front has come unglued twice, however, easy fix for your cobbler or yourself.
