I am buying these again after the last pair lasted a respectable 4 years of kitchen work. The style is appropriately basic for work, the sole is about 1/4" wider than the shoe all the way around giving you absolute maximum balance, the weight is VERY light, and the durability make the price-to-value very hard to pass up. I would recommend these to anyone working in a kitchen.

This is the only pair that I currently own. I walk on cement floors and stonehard 9-10hrs./day. These shoes are exposed to food sanitation chemicals daily and I have not noticed any cracking or breakdowns (5 months).
