No, I would not recommend this to a friend
i had to buy a spoon to get the boots off, the boot has a liner and everytime i take them off the liner comes out,just recently not only did the liner come out but also the protective toe came out and i could not put it back by myself, i am very displeased with this footwear and would never buy this product again
