Great with casual pants. These go well with my lifestyle.
I have a wide flat foot and I work in a hospital on my feet all day long as a physical therapist. I need a supportive, comfortable, non-mesh shoe. Initially I ordered my normal size (since I wear barely an 8, a 38 like my birks should have been perfect) and they were tight and chafed like crazy. I thought my toenails would break. I exchanged them (and onlineshoes made this super easy) for a 39. They took some time to break in and soften- rubbed my foot the wrong way, hurt my arches, etc... I actually stopped wearing them for several weeks, then I would wear them for a few hours a day at work. I loved the way they looked and the extra few inches to my height enough that I was determined to love these shoes. Eventually they softened up and are now shoes I even wear w/ jeans or pants outside of work. They do help me stand up straight and I can last in them all day. I still don't like the fact that I sound like Frankenstein clumping along when I walk down a quiet hallway, but this isn't quite as dramatic as it was initially. They are really good on moderately slippery surfaces such as the inevitable spill on a hospital floor.

you can not wear out a dansko~ they'll last forever! my first purchase was 6 years ago (black pair) and I wear them to work nearly everyday- still!

This is an outstanding shoe. It's my fourth pair. They last a long time and keep looking good with proper care. I can work all day in them (I'm on my feet) and then still have the energy to go for a run after work.

I bought this shoe because I was told that they were super comfortable (and of course because they are cute). Yes the shoes are still cute, but it is very tight...uncomfortably tight...across my instep. I might have a slightly higher arch than average, but it certainly isn't pronounced...so I am hoping that after a few wears I can break the shoe in

These shoes really are amazingy comfortable, my feet don't ache by mid day like they do with all my other shoes.
However, they are a bit bulky, don't looks so nice with dresses/skirts which cuts down the wardrobe...

Although I am very style conscious, comfort is what I strive for in shoes. I have found these shoes to be very attractive with slacks or go casual with jeans.
Price has never been an objective in choosing my shoes and I was amazed at how reasonable these are. Truly worth much more.
I work 8 hours on my feet and this pair will make me forget that fact.

I am a teacher spending most of my day on my feet. I am just now replacing a pair I purchased in January 2005! This has been the best investment I have ever made. They are STILL comfortable...I have worn out the toe on one of the shoes so I am going to replace them with the same thing.

I am a pastry chef and on my feet for up to14 hours a day. The first day I noticed a difference in my posture. The only challenge for me is that they did take a few days to break in the top stretch of the shoe. I will purchace another pair.

This shoe is everything I imagined it was! It was recommended to me by a co-worker and she was right! They look great for my work setting, but they have the comfort and arch support that I was looking for in a better looking shoe. Great product!

I use these shoes at work which is a medical office with ceramic tiles floors. I specifically got these shoes as my feet where hurting too much and wanted a supportive shoe. They are comfortable but took some time getting used to, you have to break these shoes in. They are also shoes that are meant for walking, no running or jumping. These shoes are a bit heavier than I expected. The shoe is supportive and I no longer have leg cramps. Overall I am happy with these shoes.

I have worn Dansko clogs almost everyday to work for the past 5 years. My office area has cement/tiled floors which are hard on the legs and feet. While wearing these shoes/clogs I rarely have pain after a long day at work! I want to buy more styles...!

These shoes are awesome. I own 2 pairs and got a pair for my husband who wears his all the time. They are so comfortable. I generally have problems finding shoes. I wear a 9W and it's hard to just go into a dept store and get the comfort, style, and color I want in stock. These look cute, go with anything, and fill my comfort needs.
Plus, my feet sweat a lot. I don't know why. I'm not heavy and I shower everyday. Anyway, if I wear anything but leather shoes with a leather footbed my feet reak after a couple months. It's to the point that I can smell them while sitting upright. Not so with these, Dansko has a customer for life.
The only drawback is that you can get a couple of pairs of this same shoe and they fit slightly different. The design is ever so slightly different. I noticed that between the pairs that my husband and I have they are made in 3 different countries. I don't know if that is the issue. Even so, I'll still keep buying these.

Its a great shoe if you are a professional and on your feet all day. They work with a number of looks. Just give the shoe time for breaking in.

This is my 3rd Dansko....I LOVE IT!...work in a hospital, on my feet all day. before Dansko, my feet, leg, and back hurt so much at the end of my shift, that i was moaning on my way home...with Dansko, its all gone!
You need to buy 1 size bigger, esp. if your feet is wide!

I am a staff nurse in the acute care setting. This is the only shoe that feels good and is tough enough! The only drawback is if you do end up with a smaller than you should wear size you will hurt!
The things that really bother me about this product is the statement that they are slip resistant. I find this not to be true at all. Other than that I have never received more comments on a pair of shoes than I have received on these

Great work shoes if you are on your feet a lot. Not the most stylish (kinda clunky) but could actually be worn for casual weekend wear as well. The sole actually molds to your feet after wearing them awhile, so they get more comfortable as you wear them...a bit stiff at first, but definitely worth the breaking in period!

Well I use my dansko shoes for work. I work mostly sixteen hour shifts three days a week at County Hospital in Long Island, New York.
In the begining the shoes gave me a hard time to break in. Like two to three weeks but, once broken you will feel like working in air. The best thing I like about these shoes, they are a little raised in the inner sole and the feet just fits perfect.They give me a couple inches high to look taller than I am and that gives me conffidence. The only thing I didn't like about these shoes, is that it took a while to break them. Otherwise i will keep buying these shoes aslong as i am still in health care industry. I think you should reduce price just a little less than a hundred.

I order this on a fellow waitresses advise. I ordered my size 7 1/2 wide. When the shoes arrived I could not even get my foot in the shoe, very stiff and too small. I think an 8 1/2 wide (a whole size bigger) may have been better, but I am not taking the chance [...]
Ahhhhh. Finally a Dansko professonal that fits my narrow foot! I'm so excited. I wear a 9.5-10 and the 42 fits perfectly. This arch support is dreamy. I wish Dansko would make NARROWS in more of their shoes!

These shoes are worth every penny!! Let me tell you, spending 8hrs on your feet is not easy. These shoes made my life 100% better. NO BACkAches - which was my number one problem after standing on my feet for too long. If your job requires you on your feet all day and of course you want comfort and no Pain - I would highly recommend these shoes!!

Great for work (I'm a dentist).
Great for casual too! I like feeling alittle taller without wearing heels.
Slips on and off easily but still looks professional.
When the suede is scratched and stained I found a shoe repair company that can restain the leather and it looks like new!!!
I now have 5 pairs -all different colors.

I have this pair of shoes in multiple colors. Teaching school, I can wear them all-day w/o tiredness in my legs and feet. I also do not need to use my orthotics in these shoes because my heel pain disappears when wearing these.

I have a very high instep and was unable to even put my foot in the shoe because the top of the shoe came up too far to allow for the height of my instep. You did not offer this shoe in the open back style. That would be more sufficient for me.

My sister has these and I thought they looked great so bought myself a pair. Normally would not spend this much on shoes. Love everything about them but they are too tight on the top arch with socks. Used nylons for a while and that seemed to help stretch.

The Dankso Professional models are PERFECT for being on your feet all day and gives your fee/arches the proper support, especially for your back! I am in retail and prior to this I was a teacher. My feet don't get tired, my back doesn't get sore and the Dansko's really create freedom for me. A no excuses for being tired shoe.

I have been trying out danskos for work. I have found that I have had to choose shoes that are 2-3 sizes larger to find a dansko to fit. This particular style was closer to fit than others. I shoes these shoes for work. I am a staff nurse, so comfort is important.

I searched for replacement Dansko in a 41 Narrow everywhere! My yellow lab puppy ate my others! These are great shoes for everyday and very hard to find in narrow widths. Onlineshoes.com had every size and I got them so fast! [...] I will order again!

The European sizing and the equivalent US size chart are way off. It was not until my 2nd exchange that I found a size that fits me. I am a men's size 13 and the size 48 fits me well.

Dansko shoes may not be the most stylish in looks but comfort is my main concern when I shop. Like many men, if it isn't comfortable when I try it on I won't buy it.

I bought this shoe for work use. I am on my feet at least 8 hours/day with a lot of walking/standing. I've found these shoes to be very comfortable from the very beginning. Great arch support. My feet and my legs are no longer extremely tired! Only drawback is that leather is a little stiff and shoe a little heavy. I would definitely order this shoe again.

I like to buy my Danskos a tad bit snug as they will stretch out with wear since they are leather. I have had feet problems that kept me awake at night and Danskos is one of the shoes that has almost put an end to the pain as the foot bed forms to your foot giving you the best arch support possible.
