Great work shoes if you are on your feet a lot. Not the most stylish (kinda clunky) but could actually be worn for casual weekend wear as well. The sole actually molds to your feet after wearing them awhile, so they get more comfortable as you wear them...a bit stiff at first, but definitely worth the breaking in period!

Well I use my dansko shoes for work. I work mostly sixteen hour shifts three days a week at County Hospital in Long Island, New York.
In the begining the shoes gave me a hard time to break in. Like two to three weeks but, once broken you will feel like working in air. The best thing I like about these shoes, they are a little raised in the inner sole and the feet just fits perfect.They give me a couple inches high to look taller than I am and that gives me conffidence. The only thing I didn't like about these shoes, is that it took a while to break them. Otherwise i will keep buying these shoes aslong as i am still in health care industry. I think you should reduce price just a little less than a hundred.

The Dankso Professional models are PERFECT for being on your feet all day and gives your fee/arches the proper support, especially for your back! I am in retail and prior to this I was a teacher. The European sizing and the equivalent US size chart are way off. It was not until my 2nd exchange that I found a size that fits me. I am a men's size 13 and the size 48 fits me well.

I like to buy my Danskos a tad bit snug as they will stretch out with wear since they are leather. I have had feet problems that kept me awake at night and Danskos is one of the shoes that has almost put an end to the pain as the foot bed forms to your foot giving you the best arch support possible.

I am a nursing student about to graduate.. I purchased these shoes and wore them for a full 12 hour shift. At first, they were stiff and akward (but I now know that it was because I had never experienced the type of support that they provide). The next shift, I tried to wear my regular nursing clogs and they didn't even compare to the support of the Dansko's. I wouldn't wear anything else. I have 5 pairs of dansko clogs. They really helped me with lower back pain as I am on my feet all day. I have teacher friends who also swear by them. They are great for travel as they are easy to slip on/off through airport security and great for walking around travel destinations although not great in summer months, i would try a dansko sandal!
Sizes are european and I take a full size larger than I wear in a US size. The black patent pair is great for dressing up an outfit and I try to keep a pair around for when I do have to wear heels--I love to put on my clogs to soothe tired feet!

I am a nurse and it is hard to find a good pair of shoes that you can wear day after day for 12 hours at a time. I was sceptical at first on how they looked so stiff but once on they fit like a glove. I can not find anything wrong with these shoes. I wear them everyday to work.

Dansko shoes for men are very comfortable, well made, and durable. The leather can be polished and looks professional in all settings. They fit your feet well - but make sure to get the correct size even if you have to wait for online shoes to get them your size.
For anyone who stands a lot, walks a lot, or needs good support, they are wonderful shoes. As a teacher, I enjoy them and wear them every day and people keep asking about them.
I cannot recomend them enough - especially the leather ones that can be polished - now in various colors for me too - cordovan, black, and two browns.

I love these shoes, for years I saw so many of my colleagues wearing these at the hospital and I had a similar style but different brand. Now I know why they all got Dansko. Work often requires us to be up for 24 hours or more and on our feet most of that time, I love the comfort and primarily the arch support. My feet feel hugged!
