I use the product as my primary work boot. I am a carpenter for a hollywood scenery company and my type of work varies drastically day to do. This boot has a lightweight protective toe and anti slip sole that are both versitile and comfortable. The boot allows you to keep mobility while having protection against hazards. It is fairly light weight and does not fatigue your foot/body rapidly.
I am very hard on my footwear. I will abuse them for 12 hours a day 6-7 days a week on a variety of flooring including concrete. I demand a boot that is both protective and comfortable. This boot has held up to my high standards.
The one draw back is that right around the one year mark the soles on each boot split at the ball of the foot. This same thing happened to a co-worker of mine as-well. It would cause me to give the boot a more negative rating except for the fact that it literally took 12 hours a day 6+ days a week for almost a year for this to happen.
Bottom line. This is a pretty good boot and a very good boot for the price.
Have been wearing this boot 5 days a week for the last year and out of the last 6 pairs of boots I've owned, this pair is by far the best. I've went through Doc's, Wolverines that were more expensive and lasted half as long and were uncomfortable. I work in construction, indoors, outdoors, in mud, in dirt, in sand etc. You name it these boots have been through it. A very good durable boot.
Comfortable first time you put them on. Very soft leather and seem to hold up very well.
