I wore this shoe to a very formal Marine Corps Ball. It went well with formal wear and yet was comfortable and stable enough for hours of dancing.

I like the style of this shoe, but if you are looking for a silver SATIN shoe this isn't it. The material in the silver color is not made of satin fabric but a vinyl or polyurethane type material. It is a shiny metallic color instead of a matte finish. I have seen the white satin version and I would recommend it.

These shoes were actually very comfortable. I had looked at several other strappy sandals for a wedding I was in and these were, by far, the best ones I found. The heel was just the right height so that I didn't feel as though I was going to trip. They were comfortable to walk in and looked very nice on my feet. I will say that after wearing them for about 4 hours I started getting a blister at the bottom of my big toe and near my little toe. In retrospect I should have taken some moleskin to the wedding with me to cover those hotspots and then I could have worn them all night with no problems.
