I purchased this shoe for my Mother who has had corrective foot surgery and needs a good, supportive shoe. She loves Propet shoes as they are stylish, yet give her the stability and comfort that she needs.

My Mom is 92 and needed a good support shoe for her arthritic feet. The Valley Walker has fit that criteria. The only thing I would change is the height of the toe box. I have searched and researched many pairs of shoes for her and these are the best by far. Thank you for ending my search. Now, could you make them in chocolate brown for the Fall? I often get compliments on these shoes from friends and family. My Mom always says how she loves these Valley Walker shoes, so I bought her a pair as a gift and she wears them often. She also gets compliments and she's asked where she got them. We hope they keep the denim blue color available. We LOVE to wear these shoes with jeans.
The medium width was good for my Mom and the wide for me.
If some people happen to order the wrong size, they will exchange them without any trouble at all. Just call them and they will guide you through a simple exchange. Great Shoe! Great company!

I purchased two pair of these shoes for my mom. They look great with Jeans and with slacks they look like boots. She is older with arthiritis and cannot bend over to tie shoes, with these, she just pulls over the velcro strap, very easy. Whenever she goes out or to the doctors, they want to know where she purchased them, since they look so comfortable.

I bought these shoes 2 years ago and they wore very well. Extremely comfortable. They are basically for hanging around or great for people with problem feet. They are not dressy or pretty, yet are very comfortable. Again great for errands, walking, and for a job that you must stand or walk a lot, not recommended for parties.
They worked for me, so I bought another.

I buy shoes for comfort, not looks. However, I have to admit that I would not wear this shoe out in public. It is wider than I expected (I ordered it in a WIDE width, as I do all my shoes), and very clunky looking. If I wear thick socks with it, it is comfortable. So, for those days when my feet are hurting, and more swollen than usual, I wear them AROUND THE HOUSE. The velcro closure makes them very easy to put on, adjust, and remove. This shoe would be good for people with diabetic foot problems.
