These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I wear them almost every day. That's probably why they wear out in the sole faster than I would like. However, shoe goop solves the problem. I am about to order my third pair.

My 95 year old mom is still active excersizing and doing tai chi daily. These shoes are the most comfortable and the ones she wears most. They give her the support and balance that she needs.

I bought these shoes to wear while recovering from foot surgery. I was worried that the collar would be uncomfortable, but it's not. In fact, these shoes are one of the most comfortable pairs I've ever had. They felt great the first time I put them on, and still do. I'll be back for more.

the shape of the shoe seem to widen at the heel after a few wears and the stiching holding the velcro tore

The strap that holds the velcro has already torn. The back part of the shoe is very stiff. They are one of most uncomfortable shoe I have ever worn. I usually like the Propet brand. Good concept just not well made.

This is another awesome Propet shoe. I just returned from a trip to Buenos Aires and this shoe went with me. It was very comfortable for lots of walking and was especially great to get off and on through airport security. I'm about to purchase another pair to have for my future vacations! Bought these because I have back problems and need shoes with a heel that will support my back. I cannot wear slippers around the house because of my need for this support. These shoes provide this support. I can slip them on & off easily because of the velcro closure. I used to buy Propet's sneakers with elastic instep, but I found that the elastic stretched out after awhile, thereby negating my support.
