I just love the whole shoe for walking, standing and comfort. I find the shoes very stylish so can wear it casual or with nice slacks.

I've been wearing this shoe for several years, and swear by Wolky's great arch support. These shoes are conservative enough for "business casual", but comfortable enough to be my everyday shoe. Also, with the Velcro closure, they are easy to remove when going through airport security, etc. I generally get at least a year's wear out of each pair, and that's with constant wearing.

The only negative that I can think of is that I was once warned that winter salt would corrode the rubber sole, so I do not wear them outdoors in winter. One other note: I had these shoes once in brown, and any scratches went right through the color--I never put away my tin of shoe polish. With the black, however, that's not the case: the color goes all the way through the leather, so scratches aren't nearly so noticeable.

Today's my first day wearing them. I walk from the subway to and from work. I bought them to wear on a trip to Europe in the spring.
Ordered on line and returned 4 or 5 other shoes and finally this one feels perfect. I like the arch support in particular and the velcro will make airport security a snap, well not quite a snap, but it won't be the fault of my shoes.
