This is a comfortable, nice looking shoe to wear at the office, however, it is not very supportive for being on your feet a long time. I normally wear an 8 wide and this shoe feels comfortable width-wise while at the same time making your feet look slim. I tried the 39 which Ecco says is an 8/8.5 US, but it was too long and I had to switch to the 38 (7/7.5 US). One thing that I don't like about the shoe is the flat bottom which sort of makes a clopping or slapping sound when you walk on a hard surface.
