I wear these for everyday use when a sneaker is too informal. I have wide feet that are difficult to fit and give me pain, so cute and fashionable are not really possible. I have not had to "wear in" these shoes - they are comfortable all day and fit well. Only problem - the laces are too short! I can walk for miles with them, but they don't have good traction for muddy walks. Sneakers are slightly more impact absorbing, but these are still excellent shoes for city walking, and good to have as an alternative pair.
