I usually get blisters from sandal straps around the toes, and these I can tighten or loosen to the degree that the strap does not touch my foot at all. Very comfortable when hot. I also like a tight fit around the ankle and heel, I can adjust this as I want with the velcro closures. I loosen and tighten them a lot throughout the day. The sandals look cute, not like a health shoe at all, and I find they look better than other naot sandals with removable insoles. I put a loafer sock around the orthotics and walk on cotton, not plastic. My full sole custom orthotics fit fine in now-normal shoe size, which is about one size larger than I had before I got the orthotics. With these sandals, my feet don't look big. embossed buffalo is my favorite design.

This sandal used with an orthotic made for Naot allowed my foot to slide too much to the front.
