I have hard to fit, wide feet. I also have a problem with my right arch. I have a very limited number of shoes I can wear when I have to be on my feet for any length of time. Normally, I wear orthotics in all my shoes. But, I went on vacation this summer and tried these for the first time. I forgot my orthotics at home and thought my trip would be miserable. Did lots of walking in national parks and surprisingly, my feet didn't need my orthotics. THESE ARE THE SHOES FOR ME!

I am returning to walking after a total knee replacement and have found these shoes to be perfect. They keep my foot/knee alignment true, are lightweight, and have a wide toe box which helps with the on-going neuroma in one foot. This is my second pair of this particular model. I have always preferred New Balance, even when I was running for exercise or doing aerobics. I wear a size 11 with average width and New Balance always offers a wide range of sizes and widths.

Feels good during 10-15 mile walks, I strongly suggest one size bigger for long walk with hills as this will keep your toes from hitting the tops of the shoes. Very comfortable and will buy more for my 3 Day in October if they are still available. I hear they are discontinuning this style.

This is my eighth pair of New Balance shoes of this model...I started with the 840 & each year the number increases by one. The were recommended because I had great pain in the heal of my foot when I walked; plus sometimes I would fall when I stepped on small rocks - my ankles would just give. I have been using this style for over 7 years and have had absolutely no problems. I have recommended this shoe style to lots of friends and all seem to love them. Although I wear a medium shoe, the wide width is what was recommended to me & it works.

I will stick to New Balance shoes forever. Thank you New Balance, you are great!

I still have foot problems since I had plantar fascia. This shoe and my orthodic give me the needed support to ease the discomfort. This brand was recommended by the orthodic tech. I did need to return a pair that was too wide, and Onlineshoes was very cooperative and timely.

These are the best I have found for a 12 hour shift at the hospital. I also walk for exercise and they are great. I have very narrow feet and these are the first that really fit. Aside from feeling a little hot by the end of the day, I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I use this shoe for exercise walking, walking routines, and for everyday foot support. I've worn this same shoe for a few years and like the arch support as well as the way it helps the strike pattern for walking. The price here was great. They have many more sizes/widths than are generally available. Why switch from a shoe that fits well?

I have sensitive feet and have bought numerous athletic shoes in an effort to find one that's extremely comfortable. These shoes fill that need and then some. They are quite unique and have a stretchy fabric under the laces for a custom fit. They are excellent for leisure or fast paced walking. They feel supportive and the roll bar stabilizes your foot so each step seems easier to take than with other walking shoes. And I must add that these are the cutest shoes in black. Some black athletic shoes are not very attractive but these are so cute, much cuter than the photo! You will fall in love with these shoes. I plan on buying many more in the future!
