Walk 4-5 X wk. Bought 843s after ft. surgery and loved everything about them. Replaced with these when I could no longer find 843s. Great disappointment, had to return them. PLEASE consider reissuing the 843s, as I've read in reviews by many others as well.

I was recommended to wear this shoe by a podiatrist; my feet are not good, especially the right one, due to a broken toe some years ago and a ensuing bunion. For over 8 years I have worn nothing but this shoe, both in white & black. The rollerball feature keeps my feet straight and from pronating. It is the very best shoe I could ever wear and has kept my foot from getting progressively worse. I can't say enough good things about this style and am so glad my doctor found this particular shoe for me. As I said, it is the ONLY shoe I can wear and I do so, everywhere!! I love it and the comfort it brings my feet!!

I have plantar fascitis in one foot & osteo chrondritis in the other, so finding a shoe that would make walking less painful has been a challenge. I bought two expensive pairs of sport shoes before I found these & discarded them. From the first time I put these on, the relief I felt was "magic". With no exaggeration, I can now walk comfortably & be on my feet all day without pain! I hope they never stop making them, as I will order another pair when these wear out..

I have hard to fit, wide feet. I also have a problem with my right arch. I have a very limited number of shoes I can wear when I have to be on my feet for any length of time. Normally, I wear orthotics in all my shoes. But, I went on vacation this summer and tried these for the first time. I forgot my orthotics at home and thought my trip would be miserable. Did lots of walking in national parks and surprisingly, my feet didn't need my orthotics. THESE ARE THE SHOES FOR ME!

I am returning to walking after a total knee replacement and have found these shoes to be perfect. They keep my foot/knee alignment true, are lightweight, and have a wide toe box which helps with the on-going neuroma in one foot. This is my second pair of this particular model. I have always preferred New Balance, even when I was running for exercise or doing aerobics. I wear a size 11 with average width and New Balance always offers a wide range of sizes and widths.

This is my eighth pair of New Balance shoes of this model...I started with the 840 & each year the number increases by one. The were recommended because I had great pain in the heal of my foot when I walked; plus sometimes I would fall when I stepped on small rocks - my ankles would just give. I have been using this style for over 7 years and have had absolutely no problems. I have recommended this shoe style to lots of friends and all seem to love them. Although I wear a medium shoe, the wide width is what was recommended to me & it works.

This is a wonderful walking shoe. It puts spring in my step. I love the rollerbar. I also like to wear these shoes when I'm working in the kitchen because they support my feet very well.
My 3rd pair-love these shoes!

This shoe was recommended to me by a foot specialist when I had plantar fasciitis. It worked wonders! Good heel support for motion control, wide toe box. I'm a nurse and wear this to work--excellent for long days on your feet.
