For my problematic feet, this is a n excellent shoe. I had to search it out since the stores claimed that it had been replaced by another model which did not suit my needs. More expensive and classier models just didn't feel as comfortable as these. [...]

Good stable shoes, great price, but need more cushioning at the ball of the foot. The interior sole pad the shoes come with is thin and quite useless. I removed the pad and added another one with more arch support and cushioning and they're much better now. They provide good heel support, which I do like, but not much arch support or interior cushioning.
I will buy this shoe every time.

I bought my first pair six months ago and like many other reviewers thought I'd reached athletic shoe Nirvana. Went to buy a new pair today only to find they've been discontinued. What is NB thinking???If anyone finds a comparable substitute, please advise. I'm hoping NB will produce the next iteration with a new name but same great fit.

Mesh inserts make this shoe very comfortable even for those with problem feet including wide forefoot, bunion, and hammer toes so your feet feel good after exercise.

This is a great shoe for someone who is active and fit but not a fitness guru. This is my second pair; they are great for walking; I also use if for low impact aerobics. The shoe is very durable and lasts a long time. Best of all, it's quite affordable!

It was nice to be able to find a shoe that fits my feet right. Being a double wide is not easy finding a shoe to fit right.

I purchased 8.5 Wides. So comfortable I bought 4 pairs. I wear out my fitness shoes by walking on sidewalks so I like to stock up when I find something comfortable and attractive. I prefer plian white over the multi-color stuff out there. Highly recommended.

I have tried several different styles of New Balance sneakers and these are definitely one of the top 3 that I would buy again. They fit excellant and are extremely comfortable for wearing for long periods of time. I have very sensitive feet and have had foot problems for several years now and these don't bother my feet as others do...

When I was shopping for walking shoes, I looked around the web for reviews. I found that New Balance shoes had the best reviews out of all the shoes I was looking into, and they are priced so they don't break the bank.
Of course like any shoe, it took at least 3 or 4 days to get used to wearing them (and I use them only for walking in the evenings). But once the preliminary time limit to get used to them is done, they are great!
I recommend these shoes for walking. I only gave a 4/5 because I find that while all shoes are not the same, for my feet it takes awhile to break in shoes of any kind.

The New Balance athletic shoes are really suited to my lifestyle. I do all my routine chores in them including walking the dog, waiting on line, cooking, etc. They are as light as feathers on my feet, but have a sound structure that supports all parts of my foot. Best of all, when I wear the NB shoes,my legs do not get tired and I have better physical stamina.
