No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I would not recommend this shoe for walks longer than an hour. It is not built for speed walking, but a good shoe for short walks in the morning. When wet grass is unavoidable or wet outside this is a great shoe for short errands. However, for the price the shoe needs to be more comfortable.
