Bought these for motorcycle riding. Needed a very good tread, nothing slippery when having to hold the bike up at a stop light. These have proved themselves to be perfect for that. Not into the big bulky biker boots. These also go with almost anything you want to wear as far as clothing. Come to think of it I better buy another pair before they go out of style.

Merrell has done for the chukka boot what they did for clogs. They have turned a traditional favorite into a true and stylish classic. But they didn't stop there. These shoes are not just good looking: they're amazingly comfortable, they last forever, and they're made of state of the art components - including leather technology. If Merrells didn't last so long, I'd buy two pair of each style I own.

This is a great shoe for someone that wants a comfortable shoe to wear with jeans or casual khakis. They are so lightweight and comfortable that you may forget that you're actually wearing shoes!!!

I was looking for a shoe that has comfort and styling and was happy that the Merrell Apollo has them both. I have had a number of compliments from people that have NEVER said a word about my shoes before. They go well with jeans or ther casual wear. I couldn't be happier with my Merrell Apollo's!
For me these this shoe has brough much needed relief to chronic heal pain that has gone away after wearing several weeks. I find the light weight of the shoe to really get me through the work day. I do a lot of standing and walking at the office and between buildings and these shoes are a pleasure to my feet.

I wear these everyday. My wife told me Merrell was the only shoe she could recommend and now I see why. No break-in period, good arch support, extremely comfortable. They got wet the other day and still look like new. Best pair of chukkas I've ever owned.

I'm a huge fan of Merrell shoes; I had chronic back problems before discovering these shoes and since I've worn almost exclusively Merrell shoes, my back problems have disappeared. I've received many compliments on these shoes as well--stylish, comfortable, and great support--who could ask for more!

The shoe is great to wear working in the cabinet shop or walking the dogs. Conformable and good looking. Short break-in period. Great weekend shoe, short hiking or walking shoe.

I'll tell ya, I'm on my feet all day and I've had alot of Merrell shoe's but have to say, THIS IS THE BEST PAIR THAT I'VE EVER BOUGHT & EVER WORN. These shoe's are not only comfortable but look good as well.I was reluctant to pay the price because it is a little steep, but seriously, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND THESE SHOES. I'm seriously thinking of buying a pair of the waterproof. I just wish that they came in the Autumn Tan.
