From the moment I took them out of the box and tried them on they felt comfortable and "broken in". Ive worn them for two weeks and they feel as comfortable as the shoes I've been wearing for 9 months!

This shoe bends with every step and supports. Has more room in the ball of foot than other brands. Plenty of wiggle room for toes. Leather is soft.

It is a comfortable shoe and can be worn for long periods. I got a blister whilst wearing it in Vancouver but I walked a lot that day so it may have been the amount of walking or bummy socks.

An extremely comfortable shoe. There is no need to break it in: as with all Merrell shoes I've worn, they are comfortable from the first. This shoe looks to be quite durable, provides good traction in wet weather, and will stand up to all the walking involved in travel. The toe box is wider than in most shoes, but this allows the toes all the room they need to spread out and be comfortable in extended walking. It is also the sort of shoe one can wear in just about all situations except for formal, dressy events. I highly recommend this shoe and intend to reorder it when this pair wears out.

I work for UPS as an operations supervisor. I have gone through three pairs of World Council shoes. They never let me down. I do an average of 3 to 5 miles of walking a day at work. Merrell shoes are by far the most comfortable and durable.

I've had difficulties finding the right, true-sized 'round-toed' shoes & these 'square-toed' shoes are perfect fitting without having to go a size larger (16?). Got it as a work/office shoe. I'm on my feet a lot. Last shoes were Rockports. I didn't realize how uncomfortatble they were till I replaced them with these. These have a square toe that some may not like, but they suit my feet perfectly. I love them.
