I was fortunate to receive a pair for my birthday, so price wasn't as big an issue, except for the fact that now I want a second pair! All-day comfort for work and high quality materials.

Probably the single most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn! Better than slippers, sneakers, running shoes....Probably the most comfortable Mephisto shoes made! Stylish, dressy-casual, these are sturdy, well padded, strongly stiched, the finest leather, handsome, but more than anything else: they can be worn day and night; day after day in the most comfort you've ever felt in shoes. If your feet hurt, your legs, your back...these are the best.

The only con:

You'll never be satisfied with owning just one pair!

My second pair of Abel's. I liked the light brown pair that I bought earlier this year so bought the black. Great shoe for being on your feet whether walking or standing. I have at least 10 pair of Mephisto shoes that I wear for casual comfort. All are great for walking and style.
