The Newport sandals are just another example of Keen's comfort. I own several pairs of Keens now and love every pair! The quallity and the comfort are unmatched. You can wear these all day long and not have sore feet at the end of the day. I love them! My only problem is getting sand or small pebbles inside when you are on the beach or in dirt, but you will get that with any sandle. I would highly suggest you try these out, you will not be dissappointed......

These Keens I purchased for work. I use Keens for cycling, kayaking, walking, hiking, woring in my yard, just about for any purpose! I have sensitive feet and the Keens have the support I need to keep my feet from hurting. I sweat quite a bit and they're great for keeping my feet dry. So far I have worn this shoe for casual use and it's fantastic. It looks great and feels great. I especially like the fact that my feet can "breathe" with this shoe. However, my main purpose in buying it was as a water shoe and I haven't had the opportunity to test it yet. I bought a pair of Keens recently for my Dad's B-day, and he absolutely fell in love with them. I wanted to know what all hype was about so I went to my local shoe store and tried a pair on.....they were awesome, so I got a pair of the H2 Newports.
After wearing those for a week I went out and try the Newport and got a pair of those too. I have high arches and my feet can get soar fast. I am 6'4" and weigh 245 lbs..

I love these sandals! I wear them at the barn, lake , beach and even to the gym. I even wear them with casual outfits and when traveling! We went rafting and they don't come off in the water or when walking in sand. When wet they do not become water logged and dry quickly. I get a kick out of the "Waterproof" logo on the sandals. I tell everyone my toes stay nice and dry with these on.
It really means they can get wet (washed) without harm to the footwear.

This is a great shoe! I can wear them when I am going to walk a lot, or even hike (some people don't consider them trail worthy, but I have found them to be great!) They feel like a tennis shoe, but your feet get the ventilation. They dry quickly and they don't get stinky! (my three kids have them as well!) I have worn them almost everywhere!

I guess I can't really comment about the fit being too big or small, all I wear are Keens so I have nothing to judge them against.
These Newports are my new main work shoes (Engineer at a fitness company).
Most sandals are not allowed but with the covered toe these are good to go!
I love the light and breathable feel of them while still getting some protection. I have a pair of Newport H2s that I was wearing to work occasionally, but since these are leather and look more like a business shoe I can wear them all the time.
If you can't tell I am a big fan of Keens, only 1 of the 8 pair I have is falling apart and that is the pair I wear working in the yard, they get wet and muddy and left in the sun, I still wear them and will until they fall off my feet, or I get a new pair...

I bought these shoes to take on a trip to Italy. We did a lot of walking. I wore these shoes both as everyday walking shoes and as my "dress" shoes for when we went out in the evening. They looked great for both situations. The only problem I had was that until I got them broke in I had to wear socks with them because I was getting blisters when I wore them without socks. Once they got broke in a little I haven't had that problem. I really like these shoes and will probably order some for my son.

I tried the Keen Arroyo, but it did not breathe at all. I never knew I had such sweaty feet. The Newport is another story though. Very breathable and stylish too. I'm very glad I sent the Arroyo's back and got the Newports.

I bought these H2 keens 3 years ago and they still look and wear great. I use them daily (in fact, I have them on now) while attending or teaching classes, during my clinical rotations, and around town. I never leave home without my Keens. These are great sandals. Fit very well, look good and are rugged, lighwt and totally comfortable. Could breathe a bit better, but overall you really cannot beat them. They are the perfect outdoor sport sandal for the modern man.

These are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. I now own two pairs, different colors of course, and I purchased a pair for my husband who was convinced the brand he liked was the best. He has subsequently become a Keen convert.

Have had these for 4 weeks and have worn them to work and
bummin' around on the weekend. They are very comfortable.
I wear them with socks. The closed toes make them easy wear

i loved the way these shoes looked on my wife and i am impressed with how versatile they are. Comfortable, stylish, and immensely hip. They are indestructible , waterproof, but not puppy proof.

I owned these Keens for over a year. I use them in the hot Southwest, where temperatures in the summer reach over 100 F degrees. My feet keep cool!
I used them for travel, walking, work, and weekends. I have also washed them (like they recommend) and they still look like new.
I only replaced the bungee lace once, which Keen was nice to mail me a new set, free of charge. Thanks Keen, this is a great sandal/shoe!!

Keen's Newport sandals are by far the best hybrid available. I use them in the water, biking, hiking, at work, and for casual wear.

These are great shoes! They are as comfortable as my other Keen shoes, yet versitile enough to wear to the beach, hiking, and even to dinner and a movie. However, my wife prefers them worn without socks!

I wore my first pair every day of the summer and whenever I wasn't at work for 2 1/2 years. I only replaced them because the sole was wearing (though after what I put them through, I'm not suprized). Soon after I bought them, I wore them for an all-night walk-a-thon in support of cancer research. I must have walked 20 miles; no blisters, no discomfort, nothing bad at all! Not all Keens are equal, though- the Tijuana's are difficult to put on and flat. These have good arches, are easy to slip on and off, easy to adjust, and are secure.

Bought these for my Dad. He isn't a big fan of sandals, but he really liked mine when he saw them. He wears them a lot because they are so versatile. Because of the support and the toe cap, they can be worn much of the time anyplace casual. Junk doesn't get into the toe area with the toe cap to protect. Good supportive sole. Stay new looking for a long time. Keens hold up to lots of use and activity without breakdown.
