I use my sandals for walking every day as they fit well, give good support, and are cool and airy in my hot climate. I sometimes wear socks just to keep my feet a little cleaner, not because of chafing.

I usually don't care for men's sandals, and haven't worn them in years. My wife bought herself a pair of Chaco's, and wears them constantly. She even has the "z" tan on her feet. She raved about how comfortable and practical they are, and how I needed to get out of the white socks and athletic shoe habit. I've had them for several weeks now, and I have to admit, she was right. They are very comfortable, easy on and off, and my feet are actually getting tan.

I always liked the look and simplicity of Chacos but had a hard time finding a pair that fit well. After reading many reviews, I decided to order a size down in the wide version-perfect fit.

I wear a size 10 sandal from Teva. I tried this Chaco in 10, 11, and 11 wide, and none fit. Even the 11 wide was too narrow--despite being too long. My heel was treading on one of the straps. Now, Chacos have an odd design, so it might be that it has to be gotten used to, but I don't see how I'd get used to walking on the strap. It's a pity that I had to return them because otherwise I really liked the sandal. The single strap also takes a bit of getting used to but is preferable to velcro. I just don't understand why Chaco can't make a sandal to fit me.

I bought these for a beach vacation and they worked well for that. I plan to use them during the summer for comfortable easy footwear on camping trips. One strap chafed my big toe a little, but adjustments and break in should eliminate that. I love the adjustability and the water proof-ness of the sandal.

Chacos are well-made & their Z1 arch supports are great for people with plantar fasciatus. They may be a little difficult for 1st time users to adjust, but once you get it, they're easy & easy to strap on. They come in a wide variety of colors & the straps don't pill or wear. The price is a bit high for sandals but they're worth it in terms of wear & repairability. I've had pairs that are years old (I wash & clean them) and they look new.

These sandals are really great. I love the "self-adjusting" straps. All you have to do is loosen them up, walk around a bit, and the straps "find" their best position.

Great Sandals.
