I was wearing the same shoe with strings but couldn't find it anywhere. I thought I would try this as a replacement shoe but wasn't sure I would like it. I like it fine for what I do which is every thing I want to do. My age is 72 and very active for my age.

I've been looking for a long time for a lightweight, comfortable black shoe for school to replace a pair of 30-year old Dexters and I have found it! The fact that there are no laces means that I won't trip going up or down the school stairways. Now if these come in a dark brown, I'll be all set!

The cushion in these shoes is great, my feet are on the thinner side so I would have been best off with this shoe but with the laces instead of the straps.
They don't need a break in if you are not going to walk at a fast pace in these, otherwise, break them in for a week or so, you won't feel discomfort but you would like a massage or a soaking after brisk walks that last over an hour.
Great shoe, would buy again, and again the cushioning was excellent.

Good Shoe. The Velcro assures they don't feel loose like laced shoes do when they need to be retied.
