I wear the shoes as casual shoes when I am going to be on my feet a long time. They are very comfortable.The only thing , I prefer the round shoe laces.

Very comfortable. No break-in period. Wore them over eight hours the first day and felt great. They look good too.

This is precisely the shoe that I have been searching for. It is comfortable for all-day wear, yet suitable for most any but the very dressiest occasions. I am a diabetic, and the extra room in the toe cap allows me to use my custom-made inserts without risking injury to my toes. The all-leather upper is also a definite plus, as compared to man-made materials found in many similar shoes.

I purchased it when I injured my ankle and had swelling. I use model 587 for jogging and tried to duplicate the sizing of an SL2 last that I could wear with a jacket and tie.

I have heel spurs and these shoes were great with my orthotics. These are the best I've ever had. Been dealing with heel spurs for 15 yrs.
