No, I would not recommend this to a friend
This shoe is very stiff and tight. However it was my 3rd return and purchase in as many weeks so I just kept it. Now I regret that.
I even put shoe tree's in these for a week and they're still like bricks. Gave them to my teenager who has had Salomon before.
Going back to Merrell and KEEN. I should've never left.

I have had this pair of shoes for a few weeks now and I do not regret getting them one bit! Very comfortable with great support in the arch. The materials that Salomon use are top notch. This is my first pair of Salomon shoes and if I ever need to get another pair I won't hesitate.
