My first two pair wore out too fast due to the soft polyureathane soles however Ecco has fixed this with a new formula. Just make sure the bottoms say "TPU". Never had any problems with the top stitching wearing out but most important never had to deal with wet, cold, or hot feet.

The Track II Moc Low and I have been all over the hills, mountains and midlands of Ireland, the cold, wet weather of New England and the hot, humid hills and peaks of the Appalachians and I could not ask for a better traveling companion. My feet are always comfortable, well-supported and dry and I have never had to contend with blisters or hot spots. Add to that unbeatable traction, especially on mountains composed of scree and spongy bog. They also remain true-to-size and after years of use on uneven terrain, I have never had to contend with stretching, uneven sole wear or structural stress. Track II Moc Low -- the world's perfect shoe!

It's the only shoe I have worn for over ten years. As they get a little rough looking, I just order new ones and use the older pair for more casual wear. Have the high tops also. Heck, I have 5 pair now in two different homes. New ones for dress, older ones for casual wear. They are VERY easy on old knees! Just wish the moc stitching on top would not fray quite so soon.

I have had 2 pair and they both suffered the same demise...the stitching in the toes went out. (after 2-3 years of constant wear). I am hoping to get my third pair for Christmas. They are a little pricey, but worth it.

I'm on my third pair. I put well over one thousand miles on the second pair and they are still wearable for walking. When I put the first pair on in the store i was sold. The only problem is the moc toe stitching comes out eventually. These things may be ugly, but my feet love them.
