I have a great deal of trouble finding shoes that are comfortable. I wear an 11 1/2 / 6E. I found the Durham shoe and will not wear anything else. Wears great, feels great and is the only shoe that I'll buy from now on. I only hope that now that I found a shoe I feel good with, the company don't discontinue them.

It is difficult for me to get a good fit with most shoes. From the moment I tried these shoes on, they were quite comfortable. They may not be the most trendy or stylish shoe, but they work for me. if you are looking for a well constructed shoe with a basic moc design, the Dunham shoe works well.

After ordering this shoe in brown, and finding it to be just what I needed, I ordered a second pair in black. When they arrived the left shoe was not made correctly so [...]I had a new, properly made pair. [...] I work as a teacher and spend my days on hard flooring. These shoes are supportive and comfortable.

I wore the shoe a few times over a three week period, and discovered that the structure supporting the heel had begun to disintegrate. (After only three weeks!)
The plastic structure within the the leather of the heel feels as though it is made from a very thin, brittle piece of plastic. This plastic, it seems, crumbles at the slightest fluctuation.
Other than beginning to fall to pieces after three weeks of 'occasional' use, the shoes FEEL like they fit well...

As a teacher I spend my days standing on hard surfaces, and needed a shoe that would be comfortable, supportive and weather resistant. This shoe does it all. I have narrow feet and usually have trouble getting a good fit, but these were comfortable right out of the box and are getting more so as I wear them. Feels more like a really nice sneaker than a leather shoe. Just make sure you order a half size larger. As with all New Balance products, they run a little short. I just ordered another pair in black.
I have bunions, low arches and big fat 6E feet. I haven't been able to find comfortable shoes for 30 years until now. These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I wouldn't buy any other brand, and am ordering another pair right now. Would absolutely recommend to a friend.

Was advised by my podiatrist to find a more supportive shoe than the rockport walker that I was wearing.
After wearing them for a couple of weeks, they have become quite comfortable.

This is the 2nd time I bought the exact same shoes for my husband. The first pair I ordered was because he needed a pair of comfortable waterproof shoes for work. He also has bunions and a wide foot. He says these shoes are a perfect fit. He has never worn such comfortable shoes before. He is so pleased with them that I ordered another pair to have on hand so he can also wear them when we go out for an informal casual occasion. They are also very smart looking shoes: looks good with khakis as well as jeans.

I liked these shoes from the start, although I often have experience foot pain if they don't break in right. From all appearances, these are good shoes and I expect them to wear in nicely and last a long time. These are pretty true to size but, one always takes a risk when European sizes are invovled and the conversion is not always accurate.
Great shoe for every day wear, I wear mind every day for the past 3 years. This is the third pair I bought

The shoe is very well made. I'm a big person I weigh about 340 lb. and the shoe is confortable to wear and my feet feel great even after wearing them all day long. I will be buying another pair shortly.
Im totally empressed with the shoe.
