Although these boots seem adequate, they are not of the same high level of supple leathers, and fantastic comfort of other Clarks shoes and boots I already own.

bought as a work shoe, in and out of an office environment located in the desert, the fit is the same as other Clark shoes I've had of the same size. I purposefully stayed away from Gore-tex (makes my feet clammy) and these are waterproof leather however, they are not ideal for very hot weather as they do not breath. I always put custom insoles in my shoes, so cushioning is on me. These shoes feel tough like hiking boots but appear casual enough for work shoes. I like Clark shoes for their fit and comfort and these are no exception. If I was back in Colorado and not Africa, they'd be my favorites! As it is, I like them but they are hot on my feet (but I still wear them).
