I wear this shoe all day. It is so warm and cozy, very comfortable, great for wearing on my cold ceramic tile floors and for stretching out on the bed. It's my adult version of a blankie. Maintenance is easy and quick; I just throw it into a cold-water wash and low-heat dry. I couldn't ask for better.
You may want to order a half size up, but these are fantastic slippers, so great, I bought 2 pair.
I have only worn these a couple of times, as I got them for deep winter here in WI. Surprisingly, my feet didn't get too hot in them, just kept nice and warm. The sole is very cushion-y and comfortable, but we'll see how they hold up over time. I was willing to pay the higher cost for a slipper that would last, and Acorn seemed to have that reputation. The only drawback is that they are a bit of a hassle to put on and off - the cuff is quite snug and requires some manuevering to get it on and off. Maybe I'm too used to slip-on slippers!
My husband and I both have the Acorn Back Off slipper for general wear, and we love them. The only problem with his pair was that the stitching was kind of "off" which made it look that he wasn't standing correctly. The slipper material pulled to the side too much, but it seems cosmetic and not a structural issue.
Overall, we're happy.
