These are so tough and versatile, but look great. I am even using them as a golf sandal since all the straps are adjustable and the bottom is not slippery. If the grass is wet in the early summer mornings it doesn't hurt the shoes...much cuter than the average golf sandal!

They are still fairly new but, I purchased them to take on my vacation to St. John, USVI... The great part about them for me, so far, is their versatility... I took them and a pair of flip flops instead of packing water shoes, walking shoes, and shoes for to go with dresses and shorts.. Also they can be worn with socks when traveling to and from different climates.... I wore them around the house several days to make sure they weren't going to rub blisters and I never had any trouble with them...

I wear these things all the time now - my commute on the T, errands, cookouts, etc, with skirts and jeans and everything else.
Wear them for a day or two straight so you get used to the feel of them (arch support is great but most shoes don't have it so it feels weird at first). They rub a little at first but that went away after a couple days.
Definitely slip-resistant - whatever this "river rubber" stuff is, it's great!
