Ordered these when they went on sale as I had wanted them all summer. They are probably a little short and the thong is too tight. Am going to send back and exchange for the bigger size, but they are very cute, don't slip off, and the arch support is great. I always wear a six in open sandals (a 36 in Mephistos), and am surprised that this is so short. I should have ordered the seven, but since I did not have a retailer that carries them where I could have tried them on, went with previous experience.

The Chaco Hipthong is great for when you want to take a leisurely walk, hike in the woods, walk on the beach or for every day wear. They are great to just slip on and go shopping or even to wear to work on casual Fridays.

This is the only sandal that I can wear because I need the arch support. Awesome! They are stable enough to wear hiking and wash easily, unlike the birkenstock I use to wear, these feel even better!!

I had these same shoes at my beach house in another color. Both of my daughters came and used them and wanted to take them! These shoes do not wear out and are so comfortable and stable for walking in the sand and to the beach. I am buying this pair for one of my daughters for her birthday, and the other daughter will get hers on her birthday soon. Best beach shoes ever. I have high arches and my foot is flat on the top so my foot kicks off most flip-flops. The adjustable straps keep it on my foot so I can actually walk without having to concentrate on keeping the sandal on. They feel great for my high arches and provide excellent support. I have to wear orthotics for my plantar fasciitis and this has always caused a problem with sandals - not anymore! I've purchased these in black, brown and green. They will be on my feet all summer long! I'm so thrilled to FINALLY have a pair of stylish sandals that are comfortable ALL day long. Because my foot is so narrow/flat on top, I need to adjust the strap to its tightest fitting. There is so much excess strap hanging that I needed to cut it and sew a small hem to keep it from fraying. It was very easy to do and wouldn't hinder me from purchasing these again - as I said, I own 3 pairs now.

Cool shoe but very weird fit. It reminds me of the earth shoe. I felt like i was off-balance, and couldn't walk in them. I'm very athletic and can hike forever, but these shoes felt strange. Sorry I had to send them back.

Great stay-on sandal. Because the footbed is molded and the second strap is adjustable, it immediately felt good. It's not flashy, but goes with so many normal clothes, from jeans to capris to shorts. This is my second pair of chaco sandals and I'm really sold on them. Worth the $$.

I am trapped in orthotics and the shoes that go with them. I also have narrow feet so the fact that this shoe can be adjusted is great. This sandal is a great alternative to flip flops which have no support, but is still really cute. The extra straps hold it on but don't make it look dorky. A key problem I have finding shoes that have some kind of support but are still cute. I love them! I wear them at 50 and my daughter wears them at college at 19. (I'll qualify Chaco flip flops, they do have support for a flip but not nearly as much as this style.)

I love this sandal. I was going on vacation and needed a supportive sandal to wear, I have plantar fasciitis, and this one was great. Chaco's take some getting used to. The straps are adjustable and I am still getting used to the fit. These shoes are not good for long walks. Maybe if they had straps holding them on. Takes a lot of toe work to keep them on. I think I should have bought a bigger size.

if you are a flip flop fan - these are for you. footbed is the best (as with ALL Chacos). the extra straps keep this shoe securely on your foot for long treks around town. i own 3 pair - black, of course, and fun colors. truly, one pair would be enough - but a girls gotta be fashionable as well as comfortable! Chaco needs to come out with REAL enclosed shoes for cooler temps!!
