These sandals are great to wear anywhere. They are comfortable. Very well constructed. I wear nothing but Birkenstocks and have for years. I would suggest them for everyone.

I ordered these in desperation because I was going on a weekend trip to DC- a walking-required-city. I have severe plantar fasciitis- sometimes I end up crawling on my hands and knees around my apartment to give my feet a break. Once warm weather hits, I need a sandal but nothing I owned was going to keep me from being in severe pain.
These really fit the bill. Fierce arch support, like balls under my arches, kept me from limping at all that weekend. I wasn't really enamored of the appearance on my feet, but I've changed my mind since then- and gotten lots of compliments.
Fit advice- I wear a 9, sometimes a 9.5 due to my rather wide (and admittedly pudgy) feet, so I ordered the size 40 in the regular (wider) width. This was so big, I had almost two inches of extra shoe. I had to get the 39s- so there is no question that you will need to go down a full size to get the right fit.
However, now that these are broken in, I am not getting quite the same support I was when I first purchased them. I think I am on my feet more than I was, and these are by far still the most supportive shoes I own, including my custom and expensive orthotic inserts.

I love the arch support in Birkenstock's and have a narrow foot; and most Birkenstock's don't fit me. The Cozumel's adjustable straps make this sandal very wearable if you have a narrow foot. I love the lining of the footbed, so cool and comfortable in hot weather. I work on my feet all day and the arch support is fantastic. I own this shoe in two colors - I wear it every day all Spring and Summer. Birkenstock's never wear out, very high quality; good value.

This is the most comfortable sandal I've ever worn, great for everything except going to the opera or hiking. I love that it comes in so many colors and materials. I wear these until it's so cold I have to put on socks again.
But -- if you have an average width foot, get the narrow size. Birkenstock's average width sandal is only average for men.

These shoes have saved my feet. Being a teacher and constantly on my feet I was having real problems until I started wearing my birkenstocks all the time. What a difference!!!

I have long sworn by Birkenstocks as the most comfortable shoe ever. These sandals are no exception, and a cute style too!

I absolutely love Birkenstock shoes. I must say these are my favorite so soft and comfortable. I wore them on vacation with lots of walking and lots of shopping and my feet still felt as though I could keep going. And even though they are sky blue they go with so many outfits and colors. You can wear them for dress or casual.
