It is a cute shoe and nice color. The top of the shoe is a bit stiff so it is not as comfortable as other Birkenstock shoes I've had.

I love this shoe and feel it is one that you could wear with casual clothing, to a little more dressy. I wouldn't wear it with a suit or to very dressy events. I've had so many compliments that I couldn't count them. My grandchildren couldn't believe that I had a pair of Birkenstocks - they loved them! A lady (older than I am - I'm 57) stopped me at the post office and asked where I bought my "Birkenstocks", I told her. She said she had many pairs and loved them! My problem is - I wear a true size 4 1/2 and wasn't sure that the smallest size in this shoe would fit me - it didn't really, but I'm not sending it back...that's how much I love this shoe. The smallest size on the chart was 5 - 5 1/2. If you noticed, I clicked the box that stated the shoe is true to size - that's because I wear a 4 1/2 and this would definitely fit someone with a 5 or 5 1/2 foot. Also, I have a medium width and ordered the narrow because I read on your site that you should order them that way. The regular is more for a wider foot. I can't wear this sandal for very long periods of time where I have a lot of walking to do but that's because it really isn't the correct size and that's my own fault. Your toes should fit over the toe bar and heel should fit into the "well" of the heel. My toes don't go over the toe bar and that's what makes it a little uncomfortable, when wearing them for longer periods of time. It's approximately a full size too large, but in sandals, it's hard for people to tell if they're too large - just by looking. I know it, because it isn't the proper fit, again, that's my fault. I have no doubt that it would be very comfortable if it was the correct fit. Everyone should read the instructions about "how" Birkenstocks are supposed to fit, before picking your size. Anyway, I would definitely recommend these sandals - they're beautiful. I have the white or off-white ones and love the iridescence to the leather...looks very rich and love the fact that they ran the leather down into the footbed as well. To me, that's what makes this sandal so much more dressy than some of the other Birkenstocks.
