I found the shoes to be very comfortable and was able to wear them to work without any problems. The height of the heel was a bit higher that I normally wear but I felt very stable walking in them. The straps were a bit loose but didn't interfere with my ability to walk around my work environment.

This sandal is very attractive but unfortunately uncomfortable. The metal button that attaches to the strap over the top of the foot digs into your skin. Not a shoe that can be worn all day.

I have a BAD back and my sister-in-law told me about her Rockport heals because she also has back trouble. Most all heals make my back hurt but this one gives support in the arch of my foot and is comfortable. I bought a white pair too and I love them. The only thing I have to be careful about is the weather when I am going to wear these shoes. The heal is cloth and I don't want to have them ruined by steping in the grass or puddles. LOVE THESE SHOES!

i was so excited to purchase these shoes b/c i liked the look, the color & height of the shoes was comfortable, but on the 1st day i wore them out, the right foot near the big toe split leaving me w/ a 1/4 - 1/2 inch split. i was very disappointed b/c i was going to wear them for a graduation in 2 days & now had 2 find another pair of shoes. these r going back for an exchange & hopefully the next pair will be better. I'll keep you informed & maybe i can change my rating after that

My only issue with this shoe is that the white isn't really white, but slightly ivory...so I can't wear them with white jeans without it being noticeable. Very comfortable shoe.
