I walk 4 miles on dirt roads in the summer and have worn those Nike H2O sandals or some made by Columbia in the past. These have much better arch support and are cute - except that I will have more than one tan line across my foot....

Very comfortable fit and cute style but only for "moderate" urban walking. Could use a firmer sole like the newports for serious walking in the city.

The shoe cannot be tightened at the toe box and I have had to get used to a floppy sandal. Fits better with socks but that looks odd.
