These are the best sandals I've ever had. They are so comfortable and I've walked many miles in them while sight-seeing, etc. They've never made my feet hurt in any way; they have great arch support. This is a wonderful sandal. Very comfortable, supportive, and still soft foot bed. It's casual, but stylish; the airness of a flip-flop, but with support and a sling-back strap.

I have an implant in a joint in my foot. So, I have to shop carefully for a shoe with a good sole. Finding a stappy, cute sandel that has a good sole is not an easy task. But, I did it with this shoe.

These are handsdown the most comfortable,stylish multipurpose sandal I have ever worn... I'm on my third pair. They require zero "break in time", comfortable from the first moment you put them on your feet, feel like you aren't wearing shoes at all. Bought them to take to Europe, wore them everywhere, including into the water to float around with no compromise of function afterwards. Walk 4 miles a day in them, great stability for such a lovely looking sandal, get lots of compliments on their appearance, no one realizes what a workhorse they are.

These sandals stay on even if you have to move fast, look sharp, and hold up to serious walking, even city sidewalks. When Merrell brought them out with darker soles (for black and brown styles) they became NYC summer wear everywhere, and hard to find in shops. (So I had to order my second pair online.) When I took them to the beach and the mountains, and forgot hiking shoes, they survived the walks and came back in good shape.
Only con: bright colors can bleed when wet, and light soles will show dirt. But, you can throw them in the machine - they might fade, but they'll still hold up - and that Merrell durability goes a looong way.
My first choice in purchasing shoes.

I have MS and deal with some balance problems. These shoes provided me with stability so I'm not in constant worry that my ankles turn and cause me to fall. Also, due to my MS I have to have an ankle strap to keep my sandals on. I'm buy a pair along so I can have them in every color available. merrell Savannah is a great summer sandal ! It has a snug fit, is extremely comfortable,and feels as i'm walking on a cushion while wearing !! These are unusual sandals in that they're so comfortable--the best I've ever owned--but they're also very good looking. I can wear with cutoff shorts or very nice pants/skirt out to dinner. The black really is a great color. Not sure they'd be so versatile in a lighter color, but they'd still be comfy! Would buy again, may get another color.

I actually own this sandal. Have owned two pairs. Love them. I travel a lot and also hike a lot. I keep them close to me in my onboard baggage. The weight, the color taupe, which you can never find are perfect. Would love them if they were a bit more water resistant because I used them to walk on the beach when I worked in Florida for three months. Have to say, the arch held up, but the material could have been water resistant.
On another note they slowly mold to your foot which is a great quality and ordering the 1/2 size less than I usually order turned out to be the perfect fit.
