I have Rheumatoid arthritis and therefore some foot deformity. Buying comfortable shoes is a real challenge for me. I wear this particular shoe around the house all day for comfort and ease. also, when out shopping. Merrell is just what the doctor ordered.
last years were more comfortable, better arch. better fit on the whole foot I could walk long distances. like the dogs walk. twice a day.

I am a diabetic and have problem feet. I have worn these all day on walking tours/shopping. My feet felt good all day. I recommend these shoes for anyone who has problem feet; for anyone who wants comfort all day. For looks, there's a color to suit anyone's taste. I have three different colors and plan to buy other colors in the future. I LOVE THESE SHOES!!!

I thought these were the same construction as last season. Was so excited to see them again. My daughter ordered me a pair. Sooo disappointed. The foot bed is so thin you can feel anything you might step on. It does not conform to the foot like last seasons did so every step I take more than a shuffle the shoe wants to fly off my foot. I try to wear them a little each day thinking they will change, but they have only stretched more. I now have sore spots on the outer sides of my little toes. Last season I had black, beige navy. this season nothing I can wear. Very disappointed.

This sandal is very easy to slip on and go. Yet, it looks stylish enough to wear to work regularly. Extremely comfortable, fits the contours of your foot perfectly.

These slides are just so comfortable. I am very particular about my shoes, especially summer shoes, and these Merrills do it all. I have them in every color and wear them exclusively all summer long. Well worth the price - and they are washable!!!!

I wear these shoes everywhere!! They are comfortable and stylish! I have fibromyalgia and weak ankles and felt these shoes were supportive & stable while still being cute and comfy. I might just buy another pair! I had a friend comment on how cute they were! The only drawback are the light colored footbeds which shoe your toe prints after wearing them awhile.

I had a pair and I wore them everyday because they are so comfortable. I finally had to give in and buy a new pair and they are just as comfortable. I'm not crazy about the flowers on the sole though - it makes the sole look dirty or like it has debris on it

Wear every day in warm weather. Only sandal in 10 years that does not aggravate my painful feet. Size 7 fits, usual size is 8. [...] Q shape/platform more stable on uneven surfaces. Problem: Can't find cleaner for pale insoles.

About 7 years ago I bought my first pair of Merrell's and I am still wearing them. I have bought many pairs since and each one I know I can put on and wear for many hours with no worry of a "breaking" in time. I now have 2 friends wearing them also. We are retired women who love to shop in our Merrell's.

The first pair I bought seemed a whole size too big; gave to my sister; she loved them. I purchased a size smaller; I love them too. They replaced another Merrill that is no longer available. I highly recommend this sandal to anyone; especially those who have problem feet and need a comfortable shoe.

These were shipped to my mother-in-law by mistake. She was thrilled with them and, only reluctantly, let me pry them off her feet. She had already worm them to show her neighbor and called another friend. I did order her own pair after confiscating mine!

This is a great shoe if you are looking for comfort. It has support under your toes & on your arch when walking. Is probably one of the few shoes I have ever worn that did not need breaking in.

These shoes a very comfortable for my feet, legs and back. They are also more stable than thongs. I especially like how they are lighter weight this year. I would like to see them with the foot bed the same color as the top to be able to have them look better in dressier situations than casual.

I wear a 6.5 shoes. Since the size was not available, I chose a 7. The shoes are very comfortable. Comfort is important. I do not believe in suffering for the sake of fashion. I also do not believe in looking dopey for the sake of comfort. These shoes are comfortable and cute. I wear them with cute summer dresses, for if I wore them with jeans, they would look like house slippers. They are better than flip flips because you do not hear the flapping of the back of the shoe against the heel. They look better in semi-formal situation. Flip-flops do not belong in semi-formal or formal situations. They are excellent shoes, and I will buy them in a different color. Ciao!
I have very bad feet and have trouble walking. These sandels make me feel as though I were walking on air. I had bought one pair 1/2 price at a discount store but they didn't have black so I ordered them online. I usually wear a 7-1/2 but a 7 was perfect and the width is very generous. Now I'm thinking of getting the tan also.

I preferred the look of the Genoa's compared to the Pesaro so I exchanged. Just a matter of taste but they are for a wide foot.

Have toe problems--hammertoe and corns ==and this is the first pair of shoes that doesn't hurt them. Needed an open shoe to help heal some recent minor surgery and the Arch support in Merrell's,while not great, is better than flats.

I love these sandals. The first pair I passed along to another because they seemed large. I ordered a size smaller. I am difficult when it comes to shoes that feel comfortable. These shoes were perfect for comfort. These replaced another Merrell sandal, to my disappointment, that is no longer available. I am very pleased and would recommend this to anyone, especially those who have problem feet.

Brought this sandal for a recent trip to Panama and I lived in them. They were very comfortable from the very first wearing and offered good stability on uneven terrain, especially given that they are a slip-ons. These sandals are also light and kept my feet cool in the heat and humidity. Now I'm back home, I wear them a lot at the weekends when I'm around the house or running errands. I also have Merrell hiking boots and another pair of their sandals that Im really happy with. They're a great brand - well made and good value! May well purchase these in another color.

Extremely comfortable for all day wear. I have aching feet after wearing most shoes for a few hours but not with these sandals. As usual, Merrell made a great sandal with good fit and support, padded sole, style and durability. Can't wait to come home from work and step into them.

I loved this shoe the only problem was with some chafing across my toe. It could have been the temperature (it was very hot).
Shoe is very comfortable; however, length seems longer than other 8's I have in the Merrill. I believe a 1/2 size to whole size smaller would feel/look better.
These are the best fitting sandals I have ever owned. They are the first shoe I have gone on line to find. I'm glad I found them. They are no longer available at the store I bought them at last summer.

I have Merrell shoes in probably six different colors.
I love them.
I can walk all day when on vacation wearing them, or I just grab them for a short jaunt to the grocery store.
Merrells are my favorite summer-time shoe. So far, I have not found a super comfortable Merrell winter-time shoe, but I am sure one will come available soon.
Merrells and summer just go together.

What a wonderfully comfortable shoe! I'm delighted by the support this shoe offers, as well as it's plushy insole. I also really like that the sole is light colored--that makes it perfect to wear around the house without leaving black marks on the floor and carpet.

I ordered the shoes in the size I always wear. When the shoes arrived and I tried them on I noticed they were a little too wide. You don't offer a narrow size (I never order shoes in a narrow width) so I am keeping the shoes even though they are too wide.

Great for around the house or taking to the beach. But they don't give enough cushioning to walk around in all day long in the city. I'd love for them to have a thicker soul with more shock absorption.
Also this pair is not as comfortable as the last pair I had. The last pair didn't need any breaking in - these chafe a bit on my instep.

Very comfortable sandle - great for casual wear with jeans, khakis, etc.
The style looks like Palmetto, so I ordered this one since I couldn't get my size for Palmetto. I am dissappointed, the sole is harder than Palmetto. I have heel pain and have been wearing Palmetto for years, I have 3 pairs of them. I hope they will bring back Palmetto.

I walked from one end of the Atlanta airport to the other and never missed a step. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had for travel. Also great when clearing security in airports as they slip off and on very easily. Plenty of support and great fit.

Living in South Florida I need a shoe that can go everywhere I do; boating, shopping, to church, etc. It also must be able to get wet and dry quickly. This shoe is perfect for me!

The shoes are so flat that they feel unstable on your feet. Also, the heel drags when you walk because of how flat the shoe is. The sole is much flatter than the picture shows.

i purchased Merrell Palmetos in Miami two years ago after havung hip surgery. I was tired and uncomfortable and had gone into a shop to buy some shoes for my niece. The attendant suggested I might like to try the Merrells as she could see I was struggling. I put them on and kept them on. Since then I get my Son (John Carver) to send me Merrells on a regular basis. I have all colours. I have just returned to U.K. from Miami and have brought home two more pairs of Merrells.I am only dissapointed that I cannot order and have them sent direct to U.K.My son ahs to get them from Miami or I order them online and have them sent to my husbands company in Louisiana and he brings them home for me.They have given me the comfort I need whilst looking stylish.
