I found wearing pantyhose with these made them a little less uncomfortable - I actually stuffed socks soaked in alcohol in the straps to loosen them up - if you do this make sure you don't let the socks dry out - the silver came off inside (I forgot about them overnight!!!!)
I would state that these do run "slim"
