the earth shoes position your back in the proper stance, i have back pain from a car accident and wearing my earth shoes leaves me pain free when i'm on my feet at work.

I have this shoe both in black and brown. It is the best fitting and easiest to wear Earth sandal that I have found. I wear them shopping and also when I dine out. They are comfortable. I was wary that the slender strap would hurt but because Earth shoes keep the foot in the back of the shoe, this is not an issue. When shopping requires a lot of walking, it is no problem in this shoe. They look great too!

I had wanted to buy these shoes for the last few months but didn't want to spend over a hundred dollars for a pair of sandals I'd not tried on given the negative heel technology. I am SO glad I decided to purchase these shoes! (!!!) They are extremely comfortable and absolutely lovely! I can imagine that I will be able to wear these will nearly all of my work and casual summer outfits. Additionally, if you have concerns about the negative heel thing, I can say that they are very comfortable (and have a memory get in the insole) and that you CAN feel an improved posture as soon as you start walking around in them. I might suggest buying your first pair of negative heel with a back strap on the shoe just to get used to the difference. I bought these in silver but will most likely now also purchase the brown pair as well.
