No, I would not recommend this to a friend
This shoe looked ok, but when I put it on, there is a seam down the middle of the bottom of the shoes that was very uncomfortable to my feet. It was a bit wide (ordered medium) and was not what I thought a shoe of that price would wear like. Not like a good athletic shoe.
