My only complaint is that small pebbles and dirt can get caught between the bottom of my foot and the sandal and it's not fun having to constantly take them out - otherwise this is a perfect sandal.

Although the San Remo runs a little bit on the "long" side for me, it is comfortable and secure and will withstand a great deal of wearing. The style is "classic" for a sandal and fits the definition of a good sandal with stability, comfort, coolness in hot weather, and wearability. I would recommend San Remo, but I would suggest it be purchased half a size smaller because of the extra long (for me) sole.

Would be better if they had also the half sizes. But they fit still OK since you can adjust from the sides.

I love the look and feel of these shoes and since i am an amputee and the prosthetic foot isn't always the exact size as my real foot, this shoe allows for individual adjustment to each shoe which makes it a real good shoe for me. It is lightweight and easy to pack for trips. This particular shoe is a two toned leather and i did notice that one shoe seemed to be a little darker tone than the other but not enough that anyone would notice unless they were looking for that particular flaw and in time i am sure they will age and wear to the point that that won't even be noticable to me.

it's really a great walking sandal, period. I use them for long walks with my dogs, on vacation for sightseeing and walking the boardwalk, and they look great for going out to dinner and parties.
they do loosen up abit the more you wear them, but luckily they're adjustable. I have heel spurs and I have no pain when wearing these.

They are truly the most comfortable footwear that I own.
I am looking forward to going back into the classroom, knowing that I have these sandals to wear, stylishly and comfortably.
The sandals felt good the moment I put them on my feet and I liked the way the straps offered several ways to get in and out of them.
I would recommend these sandals to the young and not so young.

This sandals are quite comfortable, as one would expect from Merrell, but look more attractive (ie less clunky) than most of their products.

Wear the sandals all the time due to comfort. Good with dresses for work or even camping outside. Only thing I don't like is they are not offered in half sizes (6 1/2).

I am on my feet almost all day, every day and I needed a sandal that's as comfortable and supportive as a sneaker, but cute and feminine too, and believe me, that's not easy to find! I really like the way they look with jeans and with shorts too. The sole is very flexible, but still quite supportive. And for me the support is very important because I have bad feet and can usually only wear a certain brand of sneaker to be on my feet all day, but these have been great! I don't have many complaints about them. I did have a little trouble getting the straps adjusted just right when I first got them, but once I did, they were great. Perhaps I could have gotten a half size smaller. Not sure though. Ultimately they were a worth-while purchase, and my favorite functional sandals that I've ever owned!

I heard of Merrels, thought I'd give them a try for my NYC trip. Just got back, after walking about 12 hrs. a day for the last 3 days, I could keep on going! I did not experience leg cramps, back pains, or blisters! I never had to even think about these areas of my body. I am 50 yrs. old.

Very comfortable with good support. The leather straps were a little tight on me, but I have a high arch and this is typical for me. Because they are leather, they soften with wear and are doing great now!

I usually HATE to order shoes online but I've been a longstanding fan of the Merrell brand so I thought I would give it a shot on these adorable sandals. I usually wear size 7.5 so I ordered the 7. At first, I didn't think I liked them but then I remembered that I went through the same experience with my Merrell hiking shoes. Now they are my favorite shoes. After one day of breaking in the San Remo sandal, I found that I didn't want to take them off.
LOVE the fact that I can remove the back strap to convert them to "slip ons". And the little pad on the same strap makes for a very easy break in transition. My foot is on the verge of wide so the straps across the widest part needed to stretch a bit. Because of the soft, comfortable sole, I didn't even notice the tightness until I sat down. Even that was relieved with a quick, easy adjustment of the side strap.
They work very well for a casual day at the office and some hefty walking downtown.
I'm headed to Mexico in the early Fall and these shoes are the first thing on my packing list.

Exceptionally cute, even a bit dressy. Good support. I usually wear custom inserts to keep my feet from hurting. But these sandal are well made and supportive. I can wear them all day. Love the extra floral pattern on the insole, just an extra touch of pretty.
They are wonderful on these hot summer days. Your feet feel supported and cool. I like the fact that they are not a tight sandal ie..they are still comfortable by the end of the day. No break in time was needed. I am wishing I had bought the brown pair too! Feels great on these high arches!

I'm a 7.5 -- I almost ordered a size up, as suggested, but am glad I ordered a 7. An 8 would have been too big. This is a really comfortable strappy sandal that can be dressed up or down. They're unique and feminine, and the first time I wore them I was on my feet ALL DAY and had no discomfort or blisters. There are some straps that can be adjusted to custom fit your foot.

This shoe is very comfortable for everyday running around with the kids to the pool, sports games, etc. It's great to have a sandal that is not a wedge, more classic sandal attritubutes.

The shoe doesn't fit well or feel secure on the feet when walking because there are so many moving parts. The velcro fasteners aren't very secure and there are three of them on each shoe.

I have a foot problem and usually need more cushion, but the construction of this sandal is such that they are comfortable - all day, day after day.
Great comfortable footbeds and good looking, but the straps are too tight for high insteps, so these didn't work for me. They look like they have an adjustable buckle on the top, but it's just a connector, it doesn't adjust.. there is a velcro adjustment on the other side, but it didn't quite work for me. I'm sure it would be a comfortable sandal for other people, though. The q-step is awesome.

I am so pleased with these sandals. I have been a loyal birkenstock fan for 15 years. I have never bought anything but Birk sandals in that time. I thought I would break out and try Merrell sandals because I like my jungle mocs so much. These are perfect! Very comfortable but stylish and fun at the same time. Lots of breathabilitly. Looks great with shorts or a dress. I can walk all day in them they are so comfy. I am going to buy more! Good job Merrell. Highly recommend.

Having back and knee problems, I needed to find a sandal for vacation that would be comfortable walking all day and not put any strain on by back and knees.
At first glance these did not seem to have the cushion needed to absorb the impact of my step. However the new "Q Form" sole has the cushion and firm support in the correct spots and has the comfort I need. I have not worn them all day yet, but for a few hours at home and can tell they will be very comfortable for vacation.
