these shoes are simply really comfortable. Since getting them and a pair of Keen Venice I have a hard time getting them off my feet when I am not at work. While the Venice shoes are a bit lighter in weight, these outshine them significantly in comfort.

I almost always wear a 10, however, I had to go to a 10 1/2 because my toes rubbed in front which causes me to lace up a littke tighter to compensate for the extra width. No big deal though. They still fit and feel great!

This is a great shoe for trips to the beach, the pool or short hikes. I have climbed several small mountains in these over rough and wet terrain. They keep you cool and secure.
The only issue I have is that, on occassion, my little toe pops out between the straps on uneven terrain.

I wear this shoe a lot. This is my second pair. The sole was getting worn down after two years of a LOT of use. The uppers were still in great shape and the shoe almost looked new every time they went through the washing machine. Very versatile and easy clean. Did not break down after water, ocean, washing machine, and can't say how many times they saved my toes!

These sandals are great they breathe well, dry quickly and are extremely comfortable. Not so great on the beach when the sand gets in it makes it difficult to walk comfortably. Great for anywhere else.

I never want to wear another pair of shoes!!! These are SO SO comfortable. My only problem is that my feet sweat and the rubber soles aren't so great for that. If I'm wearing pants, I just go with socks. With shorts, my sweaty feet just get stinky.

I have been wearing Keen's Newport and Laguna styles for about 1 1/2 years, they have become my everyday, everywhere shoe. One exception, the gym.
I constantly get great comments on them and those who have tried them , love them. The colors are so varied, it should please anyone.
I normally wear an 8.5, but with the Newport and Laguna I do need to go up a 1/2 size only.

I am a missionary and live on a 5 acre grove. I am also very flat footed and almost every shoe hurts my feet. But these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever purchased. Great sandal, real comfy, and stylish. There is no slipping when walking, either, which is great. I have hiked a few miles in these with my 2 year old daughter on my back, and they performed great. I've also gone to the beach in these. Sand is not easy to get out of these while walking (like a flip-flop), so maybe not the best beach sandal, though these would be great on rocky shorelines, or kayaking, etc. Also, these took a while longer than expected to dry, but that is not a huge deal. I even wear these to mow the lawn, or go out around town. They are as comfortable as a good running/walking shoe, easily cleaned, and are as durable and rugged as a light hiking shoe. Not bad qualities for a sandal. :)

Got these to wear on pool deck, as I coach a swim team! They are waterproof, muck proof, yard proof, you name it! Wear them with socks or without, depending on the conditions. This is a versatile shoe! From the moment you put them on, they feel like an old friend. Comfortable from the word, "Go!" I wear them everywhere! Walk, work, run, play; these shoes do it all. Also, I never thought I would care much for the big toe guard, but when you stub your toe in these shoes you find yourself grateful for the protection it offers.
At first, it is difficult to get over the hurdle of their expense, but once we tried them we were hooked. I just bought my hubby a pair for Father's Day and ordered two more pairs for two of my kids!
They do seem to be sized about 1/2 size off, but I think that is primarily due to the entry design. The only negatives I can say about this shoe are: the expense, and that it is hard to get on at first. The ankle strap has to be pulled over the heel (they don't unhook anywhere - and for me it was a little tight), but it streches over a little time. Don't let that dissuade you from this shoe! It's definetely worth the effort!

This is a shoe that makes you walk up right and proper. Your foot is stable, secure, and keeps you aligned. If you are an urban explorer or a beach dweller this is the shoe for you.

I needed a good sandal/water shoe for kayaking, snorkeling and other outdoor activities. Having worn a pair of Keen Portales for several months, and falling in love with their feel, I called Keen to find out if they had a sandal/water shoe with the same plan form. [...] This is important to me because I have wide foot, and it's hard for me to find a comfortable fit.This sandal/water shoe is the best I have worn by far. I wore them for the first time while camping/kayaking in Florida. This made wading on river rocks and through muck a breeze. The toe guard is perfect for protecting your toes from getting banged up, and the sole is thick enough that you don't feel the rocks. The fit was perfect but not too tight, so I never felt like I was going to loose one even in the current.The only potential downside is that when I first tried them on indoors, they felt a little warm, but my foot adjusted quickly after I loosened the straps. While outdoors, I didn't feel the same sensation - never even thought about it.

This is a very very nice sandal, on the beach and even with plain casual wear..The fit is so comfortable I dont get blister wearing them even on a long walk..will definitely buy more colors..Happy with my purchase..Try it! you wont be sorry..

I use these for the beach and on the boat when diving. Very comfortable and they stay snug when you need them to. They slip on & off easily.

This is the best sandal I've owned so far. I bought these Keen's because a friend of mine raved how comfortable they are and he wore them all spring, summer and fall last year. I wore them on a family trip to Washington DC last week, where we did a lot of walking. I was concerned about the "break-in" process, but these shoes need very little break-in time, since they are very comfortable right out of the box. Well, no blisters, no sweaty feet from wearing sneakers and socks and my feet felt good after a full day of walking around the city. Highly recommend the Keen Newport H2!
