Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
These shoes are great. The only drawbacks are the price (as noted above) and the fact that they have only lasted a couple/few years (don't remember when I bought them exactly). But these shoes were amazingly confortable from the very first time I put them on. They required no break in period. If memory serves the leather is super forgiving right from the beginning. If you can afford the price (or are willing to forego eating out for a couple weeks) and are looking for a very VERY comfortable shoe I can't recommend them highly enough.
